We are excited to announce you can access TumbleBooks for free through August 31, 2020. TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. TumbleBook Library takes existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book. You can read it, or have it read to you. Just click on the picture for the category you would like access and it will take you to the correct page.

Dear Enosburgh Public Library Community and Friends,
The Enosburgh Public Library will close at 5:00 p.m. today, Monday March 16th. We hope to reopen on Monday March 30th but will keep everyone updated as things progress. We do not take this decision lightly. We strongly feel this is the best way to help with Social Distancing.
During these two weeks staff will be in the library working 9-5 Monday thru Friday to answer phone calls, email, messages and to assist with Home Delivery to our Enosburgh residents. If you know of some materials you would like to check out, just call the library @ 802-922-2328, email us at enosburghlibrary@gmail.com or FB message us, and we will bag up the items and arrange a time to drop them off to you or you can pick them up outside the library.
Stay tuned daily for links and ideas for activities to do at home
Go to our resource page and check out all the free links you can access with your library card.
Yours,
Brenda Stanley, Library Director

Dear Enosburgh Public Library Patrons and Community Members:
Effective immediately and until further notice, all Enosburgh Public Library programs are cancelled. We have also closed our meeting room to all groups. We are notifying everyone who has reserved it.
The library Board of Trustees and I made this decision to protect our staff and community. We know that Social distancing measures such as cancellations can prevent illness in some people and can slow the rate at which people get sick. According to Dr. Drew Harris, a population health analyst at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, “Mitigation efforts like social distancing help reduce the disease caseload on any given date and keep the healthcare system from becoming overwhelmed.” (See: Flattening the Coronavirus Curve at https://nyti.ms/2U1R4fx)
We will continue to monitor the status and risks of the Coronavirus to help protect the health and safety of our patrons, community and staff. The library Board of Trustees and I will be in constant contact through email and phone calls as to when we will reinstate programs and use of the meeting room.
In addition to the cancellation of all programs and the closing of the meeting room, below is what we have put into place to date:
If you can’t come to the library or your limiting your time in public places, we have many online resources available 24/7 with your Enosburgh Public Library card. You can call the library and we will be glad to help you access these items.
Online Resources include:
All these Online Resources and links are on our webpage in the Resource section. Go to www.enosburghlibrary.net
Enosburgh Public Library does not charge for overdue items. If you need to renew you can do this online in your account or you can call or message the library.
Home Deliveries/Curbside Pickup: If you are an Enosburgh resident and are staying home due to a quarantine or concern over exposure, you can still receive library services. Feel free to call or email us and ask for specific titles or ask us to recommend some books you might enjoy. We will drop them off at your door without entering or visiting. You can also let us know if you are in town and we will be glad to bring them out to your car if you park at the curb. Call 802-922-2328 or email us at enosburghlibrary@gmail.com.
Please check our website or our FaceBook page frequently for updates.
